What is Hair

Hair is formed of a combination of protein called Keratin and Water.
Karatin is harder and stronger than the protein of the internal organs of the human body.
Keratin yields several kinds of amino-acid by hydrolysis.
The amino-acids composing Keratin are as follows;Glutamic acid, Threonine, Valine, Cystine, Methionine, Alanine, Isoleucine, Tryptophan, Phenylalanine, Arginine, Proline, Lysine, Serine, Glycine, Histidine, Aspartic acid, Tyrosine and Hydroxylysine.

What is Hair Loss?

The reason why "hair loss" occurs. Hair is produced with the differentiation of the hair matrix under the scalp. However, in case of dysfunction of hair papilla (e.g. hormonal imbalance, nutritional disorder, etc.) hair papilla suddenly stops reproducing hair.

There are so many causes of alopecia, such as weak nerves, heredity, hormonal imbalance, malnutrition, seborrhoea, scalp tension and so on.Furthermore, baldness arising from disappearance of hair papilla caused by burns, wounds, medicinal damage, syphilis or aging, etc., is as follows; Stress Irritation, Medicinal damage, Aging, Burns and Wounds, Gastroenteric trouble, Syphilis and Others.

What is dandruff?

Dandruff is a condition of the scalp that causes flakes of skin to appear.
Dandruff is a mixture of sweat, sebum, dirt etc., in addition to flakes of outer layer of epidermis. As hair grows thicker on the head, these flakes are harder to remove than dirt, and hence dandruff problems will gradually appear if shampooing is insufficient.

There are two types of dandruff. One is the dry type which is grayish white and flakes off when the scalp is scratched. The other type is oily and it sticks to the nails when the scalp is scratched.

Medical Research

Medical Rescereh shows that at 18 the process of hair growth begins to slow down. While normal hair grows, dies and fall off, there is increasingly less and less new growth to replenish the fall out.

Other factors rob hair of normal, healthy environment vital to its growth. They maybe classified into three major classifications:
1. PHYSIOLOGICAL — glandular disturbances may result in unhealthy hair conditions. The malfunctioning of some organs of the body disrupts the normal balance within the body needed to maintain peak health conditions.
2. PSYCHOLOGICAL — Factors like worry, tend to cause conditions that restrict the normal flow of blood, and therefore, nourishment, to the hair. When this happens, unhealthy hair conditions are created and the normal growth of hair is interrupted.
3. EXTERNAL — External factors may also conspire to help rob the hair of a healthy climate. Exposure to sun and wind causes the hair to become dry and brittle, and the scalp to lose its oil. The results re broken hair, split ends and scaly scalp.

Diet is also a major factor in the normal growth of hair. Vitamin deficiency has been blown to cause hair loss. Recent studies have cast doubts upon the theory that some types of baldness are hereditary. A growing school of thought holds that the transfer might be micro-organism-inspired, and therefore, purely external.
